‘Gareth Keenan Catering refers to The Trustee for The Keenan Family Trust” trading as ‘Gareth Keenan Catering, ABN 90 865 467 366
‘The Client’ refers to the customer booking any catering services with Gareth Keenan Catering
‘We, ours, us, etc.’ means Gareth Keenan Catering
‘You, yours, etc.’ means The Client
Gareth Keenan Catering holds a Food License for Fixed business under the Food Act 2006
Tentative or Provisional Bookings will be held for 2 weeks before being released. It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure payment of the deposit is paid within 14 days to guarantee the booking.
Bookings & Confirmation
To secure your booking with Gareth Keenan Catering, a non-refundable booking fee of $300 via EFT is required within 14 days of the tentative booking being placed. Once the fee is received, a receipt and confirmation of event will be emailed.
Gareth Keenan Catering accepts all payments to be made via EFT and doesn't accept credit cards or cheques. Full payment is required 14 days prior to your event.
Gareth Keenan Catering will invoice you the balance upon final numbers received. Any additional charges will be invoiced after the event.

All prices quoted are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change.
In the unfortunate event of a booking having to be cancelled confirmed in writing will be needed by the Client. Your booking fee will be retained, and the following charges will be incurred
Any additional costs incurred by Gareth Keenan Catering in preparation of the event up until the time of cancellation will be charged to the Client. This is to cover any losses caused to Gareth Keenan Catering for administration costs, travel, supplies etc. and will be discussed fully in event of cancellation.
Your menu selection must be finalised 6 weeks prior to your event. Please note Dietary and Food Allergy terms and conditions.
Dietary Requirements & Food Allergies
Dietary Requirements are required no longer than 14 days prior to your event. While Gareth Keenan Catering will make the best efforts to cater to the needs you guests, we have a strict policy that no further alterations can be made to add/change dietary requirements after this deadline has occurred, due to the adherence of supplier ordering terms and conditions. We cannot guarantee that your guest will be accommodated on the day of the event.
Planned numbers are advised at the time of booking confirmation. Final Numbers are required 14 days prior to the event. If at any stage after final numbers are received and numbers fall below on the day of the event, Gareth Keenan Catering will invoice based of final numbers given.
Supplier Meals are charged at the rate of $40. The number of supplier meals needed at your event are required 14 days prior to you event when final numbers are given. Please check with your suppliers if they have any dietaries prior to your event, otherwise we cannot gaurentee they will get a meal if they have any special dietaries
Public Holiday Surcharge
Gareth Keenan Catering may carry out a surcharge for events held on Public Holidays. This surcharge will be solely at the discretion of Gareth Keenan catering and will be assessed by the individual event.
Staff, Labour and Minimum Numbers
Where stated, all packages include chef, crockey and cutlery.
Waitstaff and Bar staff are addtional costs.
All of our packages have minimum numbers of 50. If you are below minimum numbers, there will be a surcharge charge or labour charge.
This charge will be added to the Quote at time of booking if numbers are below 50 or when final numbers are given and your numbers then drop below 50.
Should there be additional labour or Bar Staff required, Gareth Keenan Catering will charge accordingly. A minimum of 4 hours will be charge at a rate of $40 per hour ofr waitstaff.
Bar staff Minimum 4 Hours at a rate of $45 per hour
Chef Minimum of 4 hours at a rate of $50 per hour
Hire Equipment & Breakages
All equipment hired must be returned clean, packed away to the original state (i.e. glasses packed back in crate, Linen Napkins returned to their original container or Bag)
Any loss, damage or theft to the hire equipment occurring during the deliver, pack up and return of the hire equipment will result in full replacement of the item or being charged the value of the item at the discretion of Gareth Keenan Catering.
Clients Food and Drinks
We accept no liability for any food supplied to the Client by another caterer (or food products suppliers by the Client themselves) in additional to those arranged by Gareth Keenan Catering.
Where the Client has made additional arrangements (for example a wedding cake to be cut) Gareth Keenan Catering will be happy to cut, however take no responsibility for the cake.
You may incur a travel time fee for staff. This will be discussed at the time of your inquiry and will be quoted accordingly based on the location of your event if it falls outside of a 60min travel time from Central Gold Coast
Liability of Gareth Keenan Catering
Gareth Keenan Catering accept no liability under any claim whatsoever arising (be it by negligence or otherwise) for any loss over the figure of the existing Gareth Keenan Catering Public Liability Limit of Indemnity. Note that this figure which may change from time to time, is available upon request together with a copy of our Certificate.
Gareth Keenan Catering shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond Gareth Keenan Caterings' control and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act of fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, or lock out and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.
